Return & Refund Policy

Applies to all chipper equipment purchases

Due to the industrial nature of our heavy machinery chippers, all returns must be pre-approved by our equipment team. Please read this policy carefully before initiating any return request.

Return Eligibility Window

Mechnaxx accepts return requests within 30 days of confirmed delivery for standard chipper units. Custom-configured or special-order machinery is subject to a separate review process and may not be eligible for return.

Conditions for Return

To qualify for a return, all of the following must be met:

  • Equipment must be unused and uninstalled, in original factory condition
  • All original packaging, documentation, and accessories must be included
  • A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) must be provided
  • The return must be initiated within the 30-day eligibility window
  • Equipment must not have been modified, damaged, or exposed to operating conditions

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-built or made-to-order chipper configurations
  • Machinery that has been installed, operated, or field-tested
  • Replacement parts, blades, and consumable components
  • Equipment with removed or altered serial number plates
  • Clearance or “as-is” sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact our team at returns@mechnaxx.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. Our equipment team will review your request within 3 business days
  3. If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  4. Arrange freight shipping of the equipment using our approved carrier (details provided with RMA)
  5. Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed

Full Refund

Issued when equipment is returned in original, unused condition within 30 days

Partial Refund

May apply if minor packaging damage is noted. Restocking fees of up to 15% may be deducted

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10–15 business days of return receipt and inspection. Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable. Return freight costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a Mechnaxx error or defective unit.

Defective or Damaged Equipment

If your chipper arrives defective or damaged in transit, contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Provide photographic evidence and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including freight costs, at no charge to you.

Warranty vs. Return

Equipment issues that arise after installation may fall under the manufacturer’s warranty rather than our return policy. Contact us and we will guide you through the appropriate process.
